NOW Generation: Summer Activities & Community Engagement
The NOW Generation is all about bringing young adults (ages 21–40) together to create meaningful connections, spark new ideas, and keep the Chautauqua experience vibrant and relevant for the next generation. Whether you’re a year-round Chautauquan or just here for the summer, NOW Gen is your space to get involved, have fun, and make a difference.
This Summer, We’re Turning Up the Fun!
We’re excited to announce two special events designed to bring more people together and make the most of summer at Chautauqua:
Tuesday, July 1:
Kick Ball Game
Gather your friends and join us for a friendly competition! All are welcome (Ages 21-40)
Thursday, July 3:
Summer Kickoff at Fowler-Kellogg Porch 5:30PM - 7:00PM
Reunite with old friends, make new connections, and enjoy a special update on visual arts programming from Susan and John Turben, Director of CVA Galleries, Judy Barie. Beer, wine, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Saturday, August 2:
Summer Celebration at the YAC
Join us at the Youth Activities Center (YAC) after the classic Old First Night Run for a summer celebration you won’t want to miss. Expect organized activities, great company, and plenty of ways to connect with fellow NOW Gen members.
Why Join the NOW Generation?
NOW Gen is open to anyone ages 21–40 who wants to deepen their social and civic engagement at Chautauqua. We’re here to encourage creativity, leadership, and community-building—while having a great time along the way. Philanthropic participation through The Lewis Miller Circle is encouraged, but not required to attend events or get involved.
